Recently my working partner , Leslie Laitsch and I contributed to an article for Distinctly Oklahoma. We answered many of the questions woman have when it comes to their own hair and makeup dilemmas. Please give it a read. You can find it on the net, at www.distinctlyoklahoma.com. Click on the magazine in the top left corner of the page, just under the header. A new page will come up. In the top left side, click on “Contents”, scroll down to Fashion, and then the article will come up!
United States Pageant 2010
I recently spent some time with the amazing delegates from the Arizona United States Pageant. The national Pageant was held in Vegas at the Orleans casino in early July. The Arizona girls made themselves known! All of their hard work was noticed! Our Jr. Teen , Miss Taylor Mulholland , placed in the top six. Breanna Bregman , out Teen, was 2nd runner up. Kimberly Hoff our Miss was Miss Photogenic. And the new Ms United States is our own Tristen Topps!
What an amazing job by the girls and the pageant directors Patti Council and Kayla Downs. The support staff, Debbie Lee , Tracy Elliot and myself did some amazing , butt kicking beautifying as well!!! All in all a very successful trip!
The road to Mrs. America, a makeup artist’s point of view.
This will be year 5 that I will be working with clients for the Mrs. America pageant. I have been so lucky to have worked with some amazing ladies over the years and that 3 of my clients have been crowed Mrs. America. I also get the pleasure of having the best partner working along side with me who is fabulous with hair, Leslie Laitsch. We make a great team. Creating a look that has our clients looking the best they can possible look , from head to toe, is always out goal. Weather it be for interview or stage, a polished, regal appearance is always the key!
The request for bookings are coming in and I feel really good about this year. Could we make it another win this year!! We will see.
